Account setup

Enrollment​

To start using the Parklio API, contact Parklio at info@parklio.com to acquire a Parklio API Account.

When the account is created, the email provided during enrollment is used to create the default Account User, and an invitation is sent to that address to create a password.

Account users​

Account Users belong to your Parklio API Account and are identified by their email address.

They can be assigned one of three roles:

  • Super Admin — has full access to the Account and Account Security. Super Admins can manage users and roles, create Lots and Zones, add Products, and share product keys.
  • Admin — has full access to assigned Lots. Admins can create Zones, add Products, share product keys, and manage Lot-related settings.
  • Operator — has access to Products in assigned Lots and Zones and can perform day-to-day product-management tasks.

This role structure allows a client application to separate account ownership from the users who manage individual parking locations.

Parklio Connect​

Parklio Connect is used for initial device onboarding and direct Bluetooth control.

For API hardware setup, use the PMS/API credentials associated with your Parklio Account when signing in to Parklio Connect.

Once signed in, the application allows you to select a Parking Lot, select a Zone, and add supported Parklio Products and Gateways.

Parklio PMS​

Parklio PMS is the browser-based management platform used for centralized parking management.

PMS access begins with an invitation. Open the invitation, select Get Started, and create a password to complete registration.

Invitation links are time-limited. If an invitation has expired, request a new one.

No additional PMS software needs to be installed locally.

After registration, verify that the required Parking Lot is available in the PMS dashboard before beginning device setup.
