# Create lot whitelist entries

`POST https://api.parklio.com/v2/lot-whitelists`

Adds up to 20 license plates to a lot's whitelist for a time window. While an entry is active, LPR cameras on the lot let the plate in (`access_decision` `triggered`, reason `whitelist`), and it can open [bound products](/api/endpoints/products-bind-license-for-product).

- Always send `lot_id`.
- Send **either** `end_time` (in the future) **or** `"is_unlimited": true`, not both.
- Plates are 3–16 characters, stored in uppercase without hyphens.
- The response has one item per plate. Keep each `license_id` to bind the plate to products, and check `success` on every item.

Entries become `expired` (checked hourly) after `end_time`. See the [Plate-based access](/guides/plate-based-access) guide.
